Pertemps Education are recruiting on behalf of an inclusive and supportive primary school in Lambeth, with a specialist SEN base catering to pupils with a range of additional needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, and complex learning difficulties. The Role:

The school are seeking an experienced and passionate SEN Teacher to lead a Key Stage 2 class within our SEN base. The successful candidate will plan and deliver a personalised curriculum, monitor pupil progress, and work closely with support staff, parents, and external agencies to ensure that every child receives the support they need to thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, deliver, and adapt lessons to meet the individual needs of KS2 pupils with SEN.
Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing detailed reports and feedback.
Lead and manage classroom support staff effectively.
Develop and implement personalised learning plans and strategies.
Foster a positive, inclusive, and structured learning environment.
Work collaboratively with parents, carers, and external professionals to support pupil development.Person Specification:

Qualified teacher status (QTS) with experience teaching Key Stage 2.
Experience working with pupils with SEN, ideally in a specialist base.
Strong understanding of differentiated teaching and behaviour management strategies.
Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
