Role: Childrens Support Worker (Agency including Respite & Family Support)


Pay: £15 - £17 per hour


Job Type: Part-time, Temporary (Agency)


Location: Havering and surrounding areas


About the Role:
We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Childrens Support Workers to work with children, young people, and families in a variety of environments. The role will include respite care, offering short-term support for children and young people, as well as direct family support to help families strengthen routines, develop positive coping strategies, and create safe and nurturing environments.


Key Responsibilities:


Provide respite care for children and young people, ensuring their safety and wellbeing.


Deliver emotional and practical support to children, young people, and families.


Work with families to build resilience, strengthen relationships, and improve outcomes.


Collaborate with social workers, schools, and health professionals.


Uphold safeguarding principles and respond effectively to any concerns.


Maintain accurate case notes, progress reports, and records in line with policies.
