Your Role and Responsibilities:
As the Deputy Nursery Manager in Kingston Upon Thames you’ll be a hands-on leader, working directly in the rooms while supporting the Nursery Manager. With a maximum of 30 children in the Nursery you’ll have the opportunity to build strong relationships and truly make a difference. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing guidance and support to the nursery staff.
- Playing a vital role in maintaining a positive and nurturing atmosphere.
- Ensuring the highest standards of care and education are met, whilst following the EYFS curriculum.
- Taking charge of the nursery during school holidays when numbers are reduced.
What our client is looking for:
- A minimum Level 3 EYFS qualification .
- At least two years of experience within a nursery setting.
- A strong understanding of safeguarding procedures and the commitment to uphold them, and acting as the DSL in the managers absence.
- A bonus if you have supervisor or management experience!
