Beacon Product Owner
The Beacon Product Owner is required to provide clear accountability and focus for VMO2 within the joint venture with Vodafone, Beacon.
You'll act as the single point of ownership for shaping and managing the Beacon roadmap, ensuring VMO2’s priorities are represented and delivered while balancing the shared operating model. By streamlining engagement across both organisations, working closely with MAE and embedding transparency through KPIs and governance, and driving efficiency and innovation, the Product Owner will ensure Beacon continues to optimise cost, resilience, and performance while enabling VMO2’s wider transformation objectives.
You'll also provide both strategic oversight and hands-on delivery management, ensuring end-to-end Beacon initiatives are prioritised, milestones are met, risks are managed, and outcomes are delivered to scope, time, and quality.

The must haves
In order to be considered, you must have the following experience;
- Strong background in Radio and Network Sharing platforms, ideally across multiple vendors (e.g. NETCM, Ericsson, Nokia, Huawei).
- Proven experience in end-to-end lifecycle management, including roadmap definition, budget oversight, and delivery governance within joint ventures or shared operating models.
- Ability to provide single point of ownership for product roadmaps, ensuring organisational priorities are represented and delivered while balancing partner objectives.
- Demonstrable leadership in cross-functional collaboration, influencing operational, commercial, and engineering teams across both VMO2 and Vodafone in a fast-paced environment.
- Skilled in streamlining engagement across multiple organisations, embedding transparency through KPIs, governance, and joint decision-making.
- Proficiency in cloud-based technologies and APIs, with a practical understanding of data handling, integration, and AI-driven optimisation use cases.
- Knowledge of governance frameworks, contractual obligations, and reporting structures to ensure compliance, accountability, and efficiency in delivery.
- Expertise in mobile RAN counters, KPIs, and performance metrics to drive cost optimisation, resilience, and continuous network performance improvement.
- Ability to balance strategic oversight with hands-on delivery management, ensuring initiatives are prioritised, milestones are met, risks are managed, and outcomes are delivered to scope, time, and quality
The other stuff we are looking for
We'd also love you to bring;
- Knowledge of telecom networks (2G–5G) and assurance best practices.
- Experience applying Agile/SAFe methodologies with Jira and Confluence.
- Strong commercial acumen with a track record of driving cost efficiencies and ROI through platform decisions.
- Passion for innovation, automation, and emerging technologies.
- Excellent stakeholder skills to build trust across teams, suppliers, and senior leadership
