But what’s the role?
We are looking for an ambitious Senior Threat Intelligence Analyst to join us and work with the watchTowr Labs to expand our offensive security capabilities, specifically around HoneyPot data analysis, in our mission of helping organisations understand how they could be compromise - in real-time. This role is ideally based in the UK, with exceptions for the the right candidate.
Sounds great – what will I do?
- You’ll combine technical expertise, analytical rigor, and creative problem-solving to transform raw intelligence into actionable insights that protect our customers and advance the industry.
- Design and deploy detections for both N-day and 0-day exploits, leveraging our hyper-realistic Attacker Eye global honeypot network to identify adversary behaviors at scale.
- Develop and maintain CTI platforms capable of ingesting, analyzing, and alerting on the latest threats and vulnerabilities in real time.
- Drive rapid reaction efforts by collaborating with Marketing and Sales teams to ensure timely communication of emerging threats to customers, partners, and the wider community.
- Operationalize external intelligence by ingesting, normalizing, and integrating industry threat reports into internal threat and vulnerability systems.
- Author and contribute to original Threat Intelligence reports , providing actionable insights on adversaries, campaigns, and vulnerabilities to inform both internal stakeholders and external audiences.
Sounds perfect to me, what specifics are you looking for?
Ideal Experience:
- 8+ years experience with cybersecurity platforms or security honeypot data at scale (ideally Threat Intelligence and/or Offensive Security-type solutions).
- 2+ years experience working specifically in a Threat Intelligence role.
- Experience working in an early-stage B2B startup focusing on enterprise clients.
- Strong background in Threat & Vulnerability Intelligence , including familiarity with threat actor tracking, vulnerability databases, and frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK.
- Hands-on experience with honeypot data and log analysis, ideally within the ELK stack (OpenSearch, Logstash, Kibana).
- Proficient in Python programming at an intermediate level, with the ability to automate workflows, parse data, and build custom tooling.
- Experience in Incident Response or SOC would be advantageous.
