Civil/Temporary Woks Engineer
Preparing technical drawings, specifications, and reports.
Performing structural analysis and ensuring compliance with engineering standards.
Assisting in the preparation of fee and tender proposals.
Coordinating with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.
Conducting site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with design and safety standards.
Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, including contractors and clients.
Managing project timelines, budgets, and stakeholder communication.
Providing technical support and mentorship to junior and graduate engineers. Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an ICE or IStructE accredited course.
A minimum 2:1 degree classification (or equivalent).
A commitment to continuous professional development, with progress towards Incorporated or Chartered Engineering status.
Proficiency in design and analysis software, as well as the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
A strong understanding of design codes and standards.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
A minimum of 2 years of experience, preferably in rail-based projects.
A full, clean driving license (advantageous).
Sentinel Track Safety - PTS certification (preferred). Day-to-Day Your typical day will involve: Designing and analyzing engineering solutions for a variety of projects.
Preparing detailed technical documentation and reports.
Liaising with clients and contractors to ensure project requirements are met.
Conducting site visits to monitor progress and ensure compliance with safety standards.
Managing project schedules and budgets to deliver on time and within scope.
Collaborating with team members to solve complex engineering challenges.
