Residential Property Paralegal
Key Responsibilities:
- Issuing contract papers for sales, including plot sales.
- Assisting with exchanges of contracts, completions, and post-completion work.
- Liaising with clients, agents, and other stakeholders via phone, email, and in person.
- Handling enquiries and preparing replies.
- Drafting and preparing legal documentation.
- Conducting and checking searches and mortgage offers.
- Preparing completion statements, bills, and pre-completion paperwork.
- Managing notices to complete and associated documentation for plot sales.
- Preparing SDLT forms and Land Registry applications, and dealing with all post-completion matters.
- Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to plan and manage their own workload effectively.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a logical, practical approach.
- The ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Enthusiasm, reliability, and a proactive attitude to supporting colleagues and contributing to team success.
- Strong IT skills and the ability to learn new systems quickly.
- The capacity to work independently while being an effective team player.
- Evidence of flexibility, accountability, and initiative.
- Excellent communication and active listening skills, with a focus on client care.
- A commitment to maintaining a positive, cooperative working environment.
