Rust Developer (IT)
We have a current opportunity for a Rust Developer on a permanent basis. The position will be based in London. For further information about this position please apply. Role Overview: Top Tier Hedge Fund is looking for a skilled engineer with experience in Rust to join a Options HFT engineering team. You will be integral to enhancing our low-latency options trading systems and supporting our advanced trading infrastructure. As a Rust Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, where you'll contribute to the continuous improvement of our systems. Our ideal candidate is willing to become an expert in Rust and has a pragmatic approach to solving complex problems. Key Responsibilities: Specialize in low-latency options HFT trading. Collaborate within a wider engineering team to support the trading infrastructure. Solve complex problems with innovative solutions, ensuring system reliability and scalability. Required Experience and Skills: Strong background in trading environments. Proficient in Rust Experience with SQL databases. Familiarity with functional and component testing. Experience in crypto exchange connectivity and/or FPGA technologies is a plus. Knowledge of gRPC and Node.js interaction is strongly preferred. Experience in High-Frequency Options Trading or low-latency options systems is advantageous but not required. Competencies and Personal Traits: Pragmatic problem solver with an innovative mindset. Strong communication skills, particularly in ambiguous situations.
