Parcelforce Warehouse Sorter (Part Time)

Contract: Permanent
Hours: 20 [[zworkinghours and days]], with opportunities for overtime. Typical attendance is Friday & Sunday 22:00 - 08:00.
Location: Parcelforce London South West, 4 - 6 Wealdstone Road, Sutton, SM3 9QN
Why this role pays off:
• Starting salary: £25,201 per year, £12.71 per hour
• After 6 months: £27,561 per year, £13.94 per hour
• Opportunity to earn up to £30,000 per year, (based on a 38 hour week & overtime)
• Saturday & Sunday Weekend Premium +£4.39 (Saturdays) & +£6.58 (Sundays) applied to contracted hours
• Paid weekday and weekend overtime
• Additional Allowances:-
o Monthly Non Pensionable Addition to Pay (£903.84 per year)
o Night Duty Allowance (+£2.74 per hour, applicable on hours worked between 20:00 and 06:00)
Plus:
• Outer London weighting (+£3,451 per year)

What you’ll be doing
• Unloading / Loading parcels
• Sorting parcels to correct delivery route / preparing trailer ready for the drivers / onward transport
• Providing a friendly, dependable service — whether it’s a birthday gift or important business mail
What we’re looking for
• Someone with good attention to detail
• Ability to lift and carry parcels up to 30kg
• Someone who’s friendly, dependable, and customer focused
• Comfortable working independently but also a great team player
