Credit Controller
Your new role Working for a government organisation, you will be reporting to the Accounts Receivable Manager.
Credit Controller - Interim6 months
1 day/ week in the office, 4 days from home
37 hours/ week
East London Key Responsibilities
- Manage a defined portfolio of debtor/customer accounts within a specific section of the sales ledger.
- Ensure outstanding debts are collected and allocated accurately, efficiently and within agreed timescales.
- Resolve outstanding issues promptly, working collaboratively with other internal teams where required.
- Maintain and manage customer accounts in line with agreed procedures, policies and guidance, under the direction of the Accounts Receivable Manager.
- Ensure full compliance with Finance policies, standard operating procedures and desktop guidance.
- Act as the main point of contact for queries relating to allocated customer accounts, liaising with relevant teams as necessary.
- Keep all assigned accounts clear, accurate and up to date at all times.
- Ensure finance data is updated promptly across systems that rely on accurate financial information.
- Support miscellaneous invoicing activity where required.
- Consistently meet agreed targets, deadlines and service standards.
- Undertake ad-hoc tasks in support of the wider finance function as required.
- Have previous experience in a similar role
- Experience working with Oracle fusion or similar accounting system
- Proficient with Excel
- Have previous experience working within the public sector (desirable)
