Social Media Producer
Description
BBC Studios are looking for a Social Media Producer to come and join the team on The One Show, and continue to grow the programme’s social following by delivering premium output with high production values. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in developing and producing fast-turnaround, attention grabbing short-form, vertical video and copy including BTS content to encourage conversation and viewership of The One Show. You must be able to shoot and edit standalone social content with good experience of Adobe Creative Suite and be a self-starter who can line manage a more junior member of staff.Knowledge of publishing across social platforms and understanding how to optimise content for maximum views and engagement is key. Keeping abreast of social trends to reach younger audiences, collaborating with high profile partners and publishing partners across the BBC to drive engagement, and working with production teams to create a content calendar to track output and maximise opportunities with key talent. An understanding of editorial policy across social and communities is needed. Experience working on a live daily programme would be highly advantageous, or experience of fast-turnaround, topical digital content.This is a London based role to start at the mid-November, till March 2026 (with possibility of extension) , and requires being in the office 2-3 days per week.
