Account Executive UK
Soundtrap is a cloud-based audio recording platform empowering creators to produce music, podcasts, and other audio projects. With its foundation in innovation and accessibility, Soundtrap has become a trusted tool for creators at all levels. In recent years, we’ve expanded into education, where Soundtrap for Education is inspiring creativity in K12 schools. This collaborative platform brings audio production into classrooms, helping students tell stories, create projects, and explore new ideas with professional-grade tools.
As our Account Executive for the UK, you will be the sole commercial owner of the market, responsible for driving new business, renewals, and expansion revenue across schools and Multi-Academy Trusts. This role is built for sellers who can operate as a trusted partner to district leaders, drive strategic account plans, and uncover growth opportunities by increasing user adoption and penetration across existing and new accounts. Your success will directly impact Soundtrap’s mission of empowering educators and students through the power of audio creation, with user growth as the primary OKR.
Key Responsibilities
Own the UK market commercially, driving all new business, renewals, and expansion revenue.
Manage the full sales cycle end to end: outbound prospecting, inbound lead conversion, discovery, demos, negotiation, and close.
Proactively manage the entire UK customer book, including renewals, upsell opportunities, and churn risk.
Build and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers across schools and Multi-Academy Trusts.
Lead consultative sales conversations that connect curriculum priorities, creative learning goals, and funding realities to Soundtrap’s value.
Maintain strong pipeline hygiene, renewal forecasting, and revenue reporting in the CRM.
Act as the primary source of UK market insight, sharing customer feedback and competitive intelligence with product, marketing, and leadership teams.
Required Skills & Experience
5+ years of proven full-cycle sales experience, owning both new business and existing accounts.
Demonstrated success closing complex, multi-stakeholder deals with longer sales cycles.
Experience selling into education, the public sector, or similarly structured buying environments is a plus.
Proficiency with CRM systems (Salesforce or HubSpot preferred) and data-driven sales practices.
Familiarity with music creation or podcasting is a plus.
Who You Are
A strong problem solver with excellent objection-handling skills.
A clear, confident communicator and active listener who builds trust quickly.
Motivated by ownership, impact, and building long-term partnerships.
Genuinely excited about helping educators unlock creativity and driving growth for Soundtrap.
