Receptionist (Part-Time) - Southwark | Primary School
We are working with a primary school in Southwark recruiting for a Receptionist to join their front-of-house team. This is a temporary, part-time position for an ASAP start, working every Thursday and Friday.
The Role You will be the first point of contact for parents, visitors, and pupils, providing a warm and professional welcome. This role is essential for the smooth operation of the school office during the latter half of the week. Key responsibilities include:
Managing the secure main entrance and visitor sign-in procedures
Answering a busy switchboard and directing calls to relevant staff
Updating student attendance records using school management software
Handling daily school correspondence and general administrative tasks
Assisting with the coordination of end-of-week school communications

What the School Is Looking For
Previous experience in a school office or front-facing reception role
Proficiency in school databases (SIMS or Arbor)
