voco Grand Central Hotel are looking for our next Front Office Night Receptionist (Part-Time) to join us in creating a warm voco welcome for our guests!
Our locally curated voco Grand Central stands strong in Glasgow's city centre, bringing together un-stuffy service and a warm Glasgow welcome to our business and leisure guests alike. Holding the biggest ballroom in Scotland with natural light and our iconic award-winning Champagne Central Bar, our Hotel is full of over 140 years of culture, history and story-telling with our relaxing spaces for guests to enjoy.

As a Front Office Receptionist, your main duties and responsibilities will be checking in and out our guests, dealing with any queries or complaints, welcoming our guests to the city and interacting with them to encourage them to join our loyalty program. You will also be a key part of our guests' overall stay, providing special experiences and recognising our loyal IHG One Rewards members.

- Availability to work a 4 on 4 off shift pattern between 21:30-08:30
- Experience working as a Receptionist, Concierge or Guest Services Agent at a 4/5
- Hotel is beneficial
- Confident working on Hotel systems, experience working with Opera specifically is a big plus
- An un-stuffy, thoughtful approach to service. You will be someone who enjoys to showcase your personality and your ability to be a host to our guests, providing them with a laid-back stay
- An interest in our environment and sustainability - we are characterised by innovation and finding ways to become more sustainable
- Overall, ready to work in our voco team and provide our guests with a warm Glasgow welcome!

- Financial security - £13.60 per hour (£28,288 per annum FTE), guaranteed hours, paid overtime, a free meal on shift, paid holidays, subsidised unsocial hour travel support and enhanced sick pay! Plus, Tronc paid monthly if in eligible role.
