Senior Designer (Brand Studio)
We are working with a really lovely brand design studio that helps ambitious lifestyle brands from travel and wellness to hospitality, stand out by thinking like outsiders. They are a supportive, collaborative team that values ideas over ego. Their work redefines entire industries, from reimagining food cultures to reinventing luxury experiences. They challenge convention to make life healthier, tastier and more rewarding.
Brand Designers are at the heart of the creative process. You’ll be responsible for crafting big ideas that simplify complexity and inspire emotion, taking them from concept through to finished design across a variety of projects. From building visual and verbal identities to applying your designs in both digital and physical spaces, you’ll lead projects through every stage—working closely with a dynamic team of designers, strategists, writers, and client managers. Your organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to communicate with clarity will make you an integral part of the team. You’ll be expected to demonstrate ownership, deliver exceptional work, and inspire those around you.
We are looking for someone who has honed their craft in the design industry and has a portfolio of great work from leading agencies to back it up. Big ideas, storytelling and delivering engaging, creative solutions are at the core of your approach. You can simplify complex briefs, focus on the best ideas, and present them with confidence.
You’re a proactive, positive force within your team and client relationships. Your humility, collaboration, and ability to receive feedback are as important as your design talent, which is always focused on empathy and commercially effective outcomes. You’re comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring that everything is delivered to the highest standard with a keen eye for detail.
You are an experienced designer who understands the interplay between physical and digital spaces, and you take pride in delivering seamless, innovative experiences. You’ll also be a role model for junior team members, mentoring and developing their skills, helping them broaden their horizons.
Essential Requirements:
- 6+ years of experience working at a creative/branding agency
- A relevant degree in Graphic Design or similar
- Confident in creating design concepts, from quick visual mock-ups, mood-boards, animations, prototype models to polished designs
- Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop
- Knowledge in motion/digital design would be desirable
- A strong communicator who is able to articulate creative and aesthetic ideas and choices to team members and clients
- Able to stand up in front of the team and talk through ideas to also be confident in pitches and presentations
- Highly organised and deadline-driven, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Able to work independently, but keen to collaborate and support others
- Natural problem-solving abilities and fantastic attention to detail
- Must have a right to work in the UK
