My client, a rapidly growing Mechanical Contractor, is seeking an M&E Commercial Manager to lead the commercial function. You’ll ensure profitability, contractual security, and financial control across multiple projects, working closely with senior leadership and project teams.

M&E Commercial Manager Key Responsibilities

* Maintaining the commercial control of Contracts and Projects

* Ensuring the maximisation of value recovery, cost control and cash management and profitability of the Business.

* Protecting the Business contractual position.

* Preparing of financial reports.

* Producing final internal accounts.

* Managing the subcontract and materials orders.

* Developing commercial awareness of the site teams.

* Ownership and or support of Contract and Project material costs and project timelines and maintain support with Project Teams to ensure financial adherence.

* Working closely with the Senior Team for delivery of programme strategy.

M&E Commercial Manager Key Desirables:

* Degree qualified (Business, Engineering, or Construction Management)

* Strong experience in commercial/project management within construction (ideally Mechanical/M&E)

* Knowledge of public sector frameworks / local authority contracts

* Skilled in negotiation, risk management, and financial reporting

* IT confident (Microsoft Office + financial/contract systems)

* Excellent communicator and relationship builder

* UK Driving Licence – travel to sites required
