Primary Teacher - Year 2 & 3 - Part-Time (Thursdays & Fridays) - Deptford, SE London

A welcoming primary school in Deptford, SE London is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Primary Teacher to teach a mixed Year 2 & 3 class two days a week - Thursdays and Fridays - starting October 16th .

This is a long-term Primary Teacher position, ideal for someone looking to maintain classroom involvement while enjoying a balanced working week. The school is known for its supportive staff, warm atmosphere, and well-behaved pupils who enjoy learning.

Primary Teacher - Role Overview:

• Teach a mixed Year 2 & 3 class two days a week (Thursdays & Fridays)

• Plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons

• Primary Teacher to work collaboratively with parallel Primary Teachers to share resources and ideas

• Primary Teacher to build strong relationships with pupils and parents

The ideal Primary Teacher will have:

• Primary Teacher to have QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)

• Primary Teacher to have recent classroom experience in Key Stage 1 or 2

• A creative and flexible teaching approach

• Strong classroom management and communication skills

Start Date: October 16th

Days: Thursdays & Fridays (2 days per week)
