Nursery Practitioner in Canning Town

This diverse nursery in the London Borough of Newham, specifically in Canning Town, is now looking for a Nursery Practitioner to join the friendly team of staff ASAP! Working 40 hours a week as a Nursery Practitioner throughout the year, there are chances for bonuses to be paid, further training opportunities, and the salary would be from £24k-£27.5k per annum.
As a Nursery Practitioner, you will be responsible for:
- Providing general care and support for children in the nursery
- Following the EYFS standards and curriculum to support children's learning and development
- Observing and assessing children’s progress
- Supporting children with additional needs and adapting activities to suit their requirements
Prior experience as a Nursery Practitioner in a nursery is essential, and a minimum Level 3 Early Years or Childcare qualification is required for this permanent position. Experience working in toddler or baby room would be desirable but is not essential.
This is a family-run nursery that has a real sense of community, which you will be welcomed into, working collaboratively with a great team of staff. The private outdoor space makes it a lovely nursery and enables children to extend their indoor learning further. As a Nursery Practitioner, you will provide a secure and friendly learning environment where every child is able to and is encouraged to fully participate in every activity!
