Harefield School is seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Computer Science Teacher to join our school team on a part-time basis (0.4–0.6 FTE). This is an excellent opportunity to work in a thriving learning environment with motivated students and supportive colleagues.
Key Responsibilities:
Teach engaging and well-planned Computer Science lessons at Key Stages 3 and 4.
Foster an inclusive and creative classroom environment where students can develop essential digital skills.
Participate in departmental planning, assessment, and curriculum development.
Contribute to enrichment activities such as coding clubs (optional, depending on FTE and interest).
We Are Looking For Someone Who:
Holds QTS/QTLS (or is an experienced IT/computing specialist with a teaching background).
Has strong subject knowledge and a passion for computer science and digital education.
Communicates effectively and works well as part of a team.
Is committed to high standards of teaching, learning, and student progress.
