Afternoon Nanny, Job ID J1DDCA
This lovely family based in Eltham, London, is seeking an After-school Nanny to care for their school-aged child. The role involves all general nanny duties, light housekeeping, and preparing well-balanced, nutritious meals. The nanny will also be expected to create a calm and happy environment in the afternoons and, whenever possible, share mealtimes with the child. A driver with their own car is required, and a valid first-aid qualification is essential for this position.
Working hours: Monday to Friday 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm
Duties include:
- Collecting the child from school and providing attentive care until the parents return home
- Creating a calm, positive, and happy environment in the afternoons
- Supporting with homework and arranging engaging after-school activities
- Preparing nutritious, well-balanced meals and snacks tailored to the child’s needs, and sharing mealtimes whenever possible
- Managing the child’s laundry, including washing, ironing, and mending clothes
- Maintaining a clean, tidy, and well-organised bedroom, playroom, and all areas used by the child
