Art & Design Teacher – Champion Creative Excellence in a Supportive, Community-Oriented School – Barking & Dagenham
A supportive , community-oriented secondary school in Barking & Dagenham is seeking a Creative Art & Design Teacher with a focus on both 2D and 3D media, starting in January 2026.
- Art & Design Specialist required from January 2026

You will teach Art and Design across KS3 and GCSE , guiding students through coursework and examination units. The role involves managing the studio, inspiring the use of diverse materials, and contributing to the school's creative extra-curricular programme and exhibitions that engage the local community .
Experience and Qualifications
- QTS and a degree in Art, Design, or Fine Arts .
- Proven experience teaching the GCSE Art & Design curriculum effectively.
- Confidence in safely managing and teaching a variety of media (e.g., painting, sculpture, digital).
- Commitment to promoting a creative and nurturing studio environment.
