LONDON

Our London office is based at Co-Work Borough, just a short walk from London Bridge. We operate a part-time office model, with access on Mondays and Wednesdays, and encourage our teams to come in at least once a week to connect and collaborate in person.

The space offers a modern, open-plan environment ideal for cross-functional collaboration. It’s used by a variety of teams including Marketing, Customer Success, Sales, Account Management, Finance, Legal, and People. With great local coffee shops, food markets, and excellent transport links, it’s a vibrant base for our London team.

THE ROLE

Join our dynamic, multi-disciplinary Brand Creative team at Turtl as our first-ever Senior Motion Designer. We aspire to be a challenger brand revolutionizing how marketers tell their story of revenue success. We’re looking for a motion designer with sharp conceptual chops and a hunger to push ideas further. We know no one’s a finished article, so if your experience doesn’t perfectly match the description below – apply anyway!
WHAT YOU’LL DO

Bring the brand to life in motion: Lead projects from initial concept through to final execution, driving the vision for a bold challenger brand. This would involve motion work for brand, campaign, social experiments, product videos such as product education, launches, demos and so on.

Create Impactful Content: Deliver scroll-stopping, shareable motion content that performs across channels while always keeping the user experience front and center.

Collaborate Across Functions: Partner with the Head of Brand Creative, copywriter, and marketing teams to ensure motion is consistent, aligned, and impactful.

Lead with Creative Excellence: Share ownership of and inspire motion related design processes, work with the team and other stakeholders through creative challenges with confidence.

WHO YOU ARE

Senior-level portfolio: Proven experience and impact delivering impactful motion design, demonstrated through a strong portfolio.

Expert-Level Skills: Skilled in 2D motion design. We’d love if you have a mindset for building reusable toolkits/templates to free up time for creative exploration. Bonus points (not a requirement) if you can bring additional skills (3D, Cavalry, Rive, editing, Figma etc). We’re also embracing AI where it makes sense.

Strategic Mindset: You think beyond execution – aligning motion choices to campaign goals and brand.

Clear Communication: Confident presenting ideas, explaining design decisions, and collaborating across teams.

Passion for Design and Creativity: A passion for storytelling and experimentation that pushes you to create work that not only looks good but feels memorable and meaningful.

Curious and Knowledge-Driven: You thrive in a culture of constant learning, eager to share insights, both within and outside the design realm. We believe in pulling inspiration from everywhere.

Collaborative at Core: You’ll work closely with and build ideas side by side with our Graphic Designer, Copywriter, the wider marketing team, and cross-functional collaborators to ensure our motion work fits the wider brand story and stays consistent across channels.

Motion Storyteller: You bring ideas to life visually, using motion to simplify complexity and connect emotionally. Your craft and creativity raises the quality and ambition of everything you touch.

Creative Problem-Solver: You take complex briefs and turn them into simple, relatable, and memorable concepts that push the brand forward.

Motion Specialist: You’re the motion expert. You define and evolve our motion language so it’s consistent across channels.
