Teacher of Biology - Brent (Outstanding Ofsted)
A key role for a Teacher of Biology is available at an Outstanding-rated school in Brent, starting January 2026. This is a full-time, fixed-term contract (Maternity Cover) ideal for an experienced teacher seeking a temporary but rewarding post.

Responsibilities
- The Teacher of Biology will deliver high-quality instruction in Science across Key Stages 3 and 4 (GCSE), with specialist delivery of Biology at Key Stage 5 (A-Level).
- The teacher is responsible for driving high attainment and promoting advanced theoretical understanding and investigative skills.
- They must lead engaging sessions focused on practical scientific methodologies.
- The Teacher of Biology is expected to cover all duties relevant to the fixed-term post and contribute to high academic outcomes.
Requirements
- Holds or is soon to obtain Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Has the right to work in the UK.
- Holds a Degree or has experience teaching Science/Biology.
