What you'll do

We are end to end accountable for Corporate IT platforms and products through the product lifecycle from design to build and run. We provide critical Global solutions and IT services to the entire Vodafone Plc business. With a core focus on the delivery of the Corporate Solutions including the Global ERP solution (EVO), and a wide portfolio of over 150 business applications supporting key business units of Finance, HR, Supply Chain, Procurement, Shared Service centres (_VOIS) and Group BI. The IT Platforms team are consistently leading a number of transformation initiatives including the transition of all our SAP applications (local and global) to RISE private cloud, definition of centralized payroll platforms, a global collection and device logistic platforms and many AI/Gen AI initiatives aiming at digitalize and automate processes and improve employee experience. A key cornerstone capability to support our Vodafone digital vision is to strengthen and exploit our IT platforms both in breadth and depth of solution functionality and Vodafone usage. The end to end vision and delivery of these platforms is critical to ensuring our IT products drive value whilst being run with best in class efficiency and securely.

We are looking for a trusted and motivated Senior IT leader who can effectively develop and deliver the forehand mentioned programs. The candidate will have deep SAP knowledge and very strong knowledge program delivery (both agile and waterfall).

The role will need to blend delivery expertise and strong stakeholder management to integrate an effective outcome that meets the needs of our programs. It will look to deliver in an agile/SAFe manner - driving a product backlog with business alignment so that we ensure delivery across matrix teams and challenge vendors to address our priorities.

  • Strategic Thinking: The ability to set out a clear plan and ensure that every project aligns with the organization's bigger picture goal
  • Risk Management: Closely manage and overcome potential issues and develop plans to handle risks, ensuring the program runs smoothly
  • Stakeholder Communication: Strong communication skills to keep everyone in the loop, from higher-ups to clients, and ensuring their needs are met
  • Project Planning and Execution: Strong abilities in planning and executing projects, ensuring they are accomplished to the complete satisfaction of stakeholders, on schedule, and within budget
  • Leadership and Team Management: Experience in leading and managing large virtual teams, ensuring successful delivery of program capabilities
  • Deep SAP experience leading complex cross organization programs
  • University degree in relevant field (IT or Finance) along with MBA
  • Agile Certified
  • Detailed and extensive experience on program delivery
  • SCRUM or Agile delivery experience as plus
