Day-to-day of the role:
- Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with diverse learning needs.
- Develop and implement individualised learning plans to meet the specific needs of each student.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to promote student success.
- Monitor and report on student progress, adapting strategies as needed to optimize learning outcomes.
- Foster a supportive and understanding environment that encourages student engagement and participation.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience in mentoring, teaching, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of inclusive education practices and strategies.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit different learning styles and needs.
- A patient and empathetic approach, with a strong commitment to enhancing student well-being and academic performance.
