We are working e on behalf of a leading firm to support the appointment of an Audit & Assurance Partner with deep expertise in US GAAP and associated reporting standards. This is a live and strategically important requirement within a highly specialised UK-based team that advises on UK/US cross-border matters.

The team operates as part of a well-established US Advisory Services function. They have worked closely with US companies and cross-border clients, supporting both market entry and international expansion strategies. Their remit includes capital markets access, SEC reporting, US GAAP and GAAS compliance, PCAOB audit standards, and advisory around PE/VC funding and M&A transactions involving US interests.

This Partner-level opportunity offers the chance to take a senior role within a high-performing and technically outstanding team. The successful candidate will play a key role in advising clients on complex reporting requirements, including US GAAP conversion, SEC filings, and transaction-related assurance work. You will also be involved in developing market strategies and supporting the UK team with technical training and compliance relating to US standards.

To be considered, you will need to be an experienced Audit professional with a strong understanding of US GAAP, US GAAS, PCAOB, or SEC reporting standards, and ideally some previous exposure to cross-border audit engagements or advisory work. You should currently hold Responsible Individual (RI) status in the UK, and either be operating at Partner level or be a senior Director with a clear trajectory toward partnership.
