Senior Recruitment Consultant / Recruitment Consultant - Education Support (Non Classroom) Desk - London
Our client is looking to appoint an experienced Education Recruitment Consultant in London to take over a warm, non-classroom-based desk focused on support staff within education. This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Recruitment Consultant or Recruitment Consultant who enjoys the pace of temp recruitment and wants to inherit a desk with existing clients, active days and a live candidate base already in place.
The desk covers non-classroom roles such as administration, premises and operational support within schools. It would suit an education recruiter from a primary, secondary or SEND background who is looking for a fresh challenge, but our client would also consider a recruiter from another fast-paced sector who is used to filling bookings quickly and managing a busy temp desk.
You’ll be joining a business with a strong reputation in the education market and a genuinely supportive team around you. There is an established resourcing and compliance function in place, meaning candidates are sourced, prepared and cleared efficiently, allowing you to focus on building relationships, filling bookings and growing the desk rather than getting bogged down in admin.
This is a friendly, collaborative environment where people are trusted to get on with the job while still having support there when needed. It would suit someone who enjoys autonomy, likes working at pace and wants to be part of a team that is engaged, down-to-earth and committed to delivering a quality service.
With a basic salary of up to £60,000 and commission of up to 15% , this is an excellent opportunity for an experienced recruiter looking for strong earning potential alongside a warm desk and the infrastructure to support success from day one.
Why this Education Recruitment Consultant London role stands out
This is not a cold desk and it is not a role where you will be expected to do everything yourself. You’ll benefit from a strong team of resourcers and compliance professionals who keep candidates moving quickly through the process, meaning you can stay focused on service delivery, bookings and desk growth.
Our client also offers a genuinely flexible working environment, including hybrid working , reduced hours during the school holidays , and the option of extended lunches if you want to head to the gym, go for a walk, enjoy lunch out or fit in personal errands, with the time made up at the end of the day. A subsidised gym membership is also available.
