Finance Officer - Secondary School - Enfield (London)

About the Role
As Finance Officer , you will support the school’s financial processes, ensuring transactions are accurate, records are up to date and systems are compliant. Working closely with the School Business Manager and wider admin team, you will help ensure the school’s financial operations are efficient and well organised.
Key responsibilities will typically include:
Processing purchase orders, invoices and supplier payments accurately and on time
Maintaining financial records and ensuring documentation is filed correctly for audit purposes
Supporting budget monitoring and producing routine finance reports as required
Managing income processing, including trips, payments and other school income streams
Liaising with suppliers and resolving queries professionally and efficiently
Supporting procurement processes and ensuring value-for-money procedures are followed
Supporting payroll/HR admin tasks where appropriate (depending on structure)
Maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information securely
