Role overview
To function as the food dispatch supervisor at Calo and organize resources so that deliveries and services are carried out in the most efficient and timely manner possible. The successful candidate will enable smooth communication between all parties by ensuring accurate and timely transmission of information.
Main Responsibilities
Supervise the portioning and dispatch team during portioning, shopping, and bagging.
Make sure teams and team leaders are following the company's guidelines, standards, and procedures.
Making sure all portioning teams are following guidelines accurately and according to given specifications.
Make sure stocks are available for the day.
Make sure components are adequate to use and upon standards.
Matching measuring cups with quantities required by scaling each component prior to portioning of the meal
Making sure all meals are following the correct procedures (stickers in place, lids well closed, and containers neat and in good condition, etc.)
Processing and monitoring all printables needed for the day (Stickers, Meal Labels, Invoices, trackers, etc.)
Prepare amendments list for each shift (meal change, cancellations, special requests, …)
Making sure employees are following hygiene standards and policies.
Assuring the cleanliness of all sections.
Making sure work-related processes are upon standards and procedures.
Making sure all meals required for the delivery shift are available and segregated according to each driver’s orders.
Handling and supervising meals assigned to drivers accordingly and recording time and temperatures.
Checking and logging chillers' temperature.
Updating checklists and trackers assigned by management
Ideal Candidate
Qualifications
Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a supervisory role
Ability to divide responsibilities and monitor progress
Experience in large fast-food chains is highly desirable
The ability to arrange and organize employees’ shifts is a plus
Must be currently present in London
Must be able to do night shifts (10pm - 6:30am)
Able to commute to NW10 7PR
Knowledge and competency
Food safety certification with managerial experience is a major advantage
Working knowledge of Office software, such as Excel
Outstanding communication and leadership skills
Being able to communicate in multiple languages is a plus
