• Strategic Sourcing: Develop and implement plans for sourcing technology products and services aligned with Virgin Group's strategy.
• Supplier Management: Build and maintain key supplier relationships, negotiating contracts with favorable terms.

• Risk Management: Identify and address risks in procurement, ensuring compliance and vendor reliability.
• Vendor Performance: Ensure vendors meet quality, delivery, and contractual standards.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with internal teams like Technology, Innovation, and Finance to meet business needs.
• Contract Management: Lead the drafting, negotiation, and oversight of procurement contracts

What you’ll need

• Tech Savvy: Deep knowledge of software, cloud solutions, IT managed services, and tech development, with a strong understanding of technology products and services.
• Contracts Expertise: Proven experience in drafting, negotiating, and managing technology contracts, ensuring compliance and delivering value.
• Skilled Negotiator & Problem Solver: A track record of securing favorable deals and solving complex challenges with strong analytical abilities.
• Collaborative Leader: Experience leading cross-functional teams and building effective partnerships with stakeholders and suppliers.
• Effective Communicator: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, adept at engaging with vendors and internal teams alike.
• Detail-Oriented Multitasker: High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects efficiently.
• CIPS Qualification: Ideally CIPS-qualified or actively interested in pursuing this professional certification to enhance your procurement expertise.

The extra details

Role type : Contract (6-9 months)
Location : London hub (2 days per week) & your home space
Salary : £66,000 - £81,000 plus bonus - We're putting our salaries out there for everyone to see - no smoke and mirrors, just honest numbers. We'll offer a salary that matches your skills, always aiming for room to grow.
