EYFS Teaching Assistant
We are looking for a caring, motivated and enthusiastic Part-Time EYFS Teaching Assistant to join our supportive early years team. The successful candidate will assist in providing high-quality care and education for children aged 2–5 years.
About the role
You will be supporting the class teacher and colleagues in delivering engaging, play-based learning experiences that promote children’s curiosity, creativity and independence.
You will be working closely with children to support their personal, social, emotional and educational development.
You should be able to promote and follow safeguarding, health and safety and equal opportunities policies at all times.

Requirements
To be considered for the role of EYFS Teaching Assistant you will:
- Previous experience working with young children in a nursery, preschool or primary setting.
- A good understanding of the EYFS framework and early childhood development.
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
- Previous experience working with young children
Key responsibilities
As EYFS Teaching Assistant you will be responsible for:
- Support the class teacher or Room Leader in delivering engaging, play-based learning experiences aligned with the EYFS framework.
- Assist in planning, preparing and setting up activities that promote children’s curiosity, creativity and independence.
- Ensure all safeguarding, health and safety, and confidentiality policies are followed at all times.
