Your role in the JoJo story…..

You will support the delivery of JoJo’s sustainability strategy, responsible sourcing commitments, and ethical trade goals by playing a key part in managing Preferred Materials certification, supporting ethical compliance, and driving continuous improvement in our global supply chain.

Sustainability & Preferred Materials Management

  • Support the delivery of JoJo’s sustainability roadmap, helping to achieve both environmental and responsible sourcing objectives.

  • Coordinate sustainability-related data collection, analysis, and reporting for internal targets, regulatory requirements, B Corp certification, and annual sustainability reporting.

  • Lead the administration and continuous improvement of JoJo’s Preferred Materials management and framework.

  • Manage certification programmes, including GOTS, GRS, FSC, ensuring suppliers maintain valid certifications and documentation.

  • Support supply chain traceability initiatives, helping improve transparency and visibility of materials and manufacturing processes.

  • Collaborate with Buying, Design, Technical and Marketing teams to embed sustainability, traceability, and green claims requirements into business processes and everyday decision-making.

  • Engage with suppliers to support the adoption of Preferred Materials and traceability requirements

  • Manage and monitor environmental performance through the supplier Sustainability Self-assessment Questionnaire and identify opportunities to reduce environmental impact.

  • Develop and maintain sustainability policies, SOPs, and training materials, ensuring they remain up-to-date and accessible.

  • Provide support across sustainability initiatives as required.

Ethical Trade & Code of Practice Audit Management

  • Support internal and external reporting for JoJo Ethical Trade Strategy, ETI Membership, Modern Slavery Reporting and other ethical trade projects.

  • Provide research and insights on ethical trade and human rights issues, sharing relevant findings with internal teams.

  • Organise new factory onboarding meetings to communicate JoJo’s Code of Practice requirements.

  • Maintain and update the audit database; produce monthly analytical reports for the business.

  • Assist in audit planning and scheduling in collaboration with the Code of Practice team.

  • Conduct initial review of Code of Practice audits, highlight risks, and escalate issues to senior management.

  • Coordinate meetings with buyers and suppliers to review audit results, ensuring corrective action plans are implemented and monitored.

  • Track audit outcomes, working with suppliers and auditors to close non-compliances and drive continuous improvement.

  • Provide regular updates to commercial teams on factory audit status through scheduled and ad hoc reporting.

Skills that make you shine:

  • Experience in sustainability, responsible sourcing, ethical trade, compliance, or supply chain support, ideally within retail, fashion, textiles, or consumer goods. (Desirable)

  • Good understanding of sustainability and ethical trade principles, including certifications such as GOTS, GRS, FSC, and supply chain traceability.

  • Strong analytical and organisational skills, with the ability to manage data accurately, maintain records, and meet deadlines.

  • Confident communicator able to build effective relationships with internal teams, suppliers, and external partners.

  • Ability to identify risks or non-compliances, escalate issues appropriately, and support continuous improvement.

  • Strong attention to detail, a proactive approach, and good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

  • A genuine interest in sustainability, responsible sourcing, and ethical business practices.
