Academics is looking for a Compliance Administrator to join our busy Romford office. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, is comfortable speaking to people and has excellent attention to detail.

As part of our compliance team, you’ll help ensure the teachers and support staff we place into schools are fully compliant and ready to work. You’ll work closely with candidates, schools, local authorities and our recruitment consultants, making sure all necessary checks and documentation are completed accurately and on time.

What you’ll be doing:

* Managing candidate compliance and onboarding
* Processing DBS checks and obtaining references
* Completing right-to-work and ID checks
* Maintaining accurate candidate records
* Chasing outstanding documentation by phone and email
* Working to compliance and safeguarding KPIs
* Liaising with candidates, schools, local authorities and internal teams
* Supporting the recruitment team to ensure candidates are cleared and ready to work

What we’re looking for:

* Previous administration or office experience is desirable
* Excellent organisation and attention to detail
* Confident communication skills
* Comfortable working to deadlines and KPIs
* A proactive approach and willingness to get stuck in
* Good IT skills
* Someone who enjoys working as part of a busy, sociable team
