About the role
We are looking for part time teaching assistants to join our supply pool working as a supply TA.
How does it work? You inform us on the days you are free week on week (this could be 1 day or 5 days) and we offer work when available.
This is a flexible working pattern and we work around your availability while taking all your preferences into consideration.
You should-
- Be happy to work in different primary schools throughout the week
- Be comfortable working with different year groups and be flexible
- Be adaptable, organised, punctual and be able to work off your own initiative
- Be able to work 08:30 - 16:00 on the days you can work
- Be comfortable supporting pupils with SEN when needed
- Be able to work in 1-2-1 and small group settings with children
About the school
All schools are mainstream primary schools in Barking and Dagenham
Schools expect their supply staff to show enthusiasm, be punctual and have a genuine care for working with children in education.
Requirements
To be considered for the role of Part time teaching assistant you will:
- Have a DBS on the updated service or be willing to apply for one
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
- Prior experience working with children in an education setting
