KS2 Teacher - Woolwich
We are seeking an enthusiastic, dedicated, and experienced KS2 Teacher to join a friendly and inclusive primary school in Woolwich, starting ASAP. This is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher who is passionate about Key Stage 2 education and supporting pupils’ academic progress, personal development, and preparation for secondary school.

As a KS2 Teacher, you will be responsible for planning, delivering, and assessing engaging lessons across the Key Stage 2 curriculum. You will support pupils’ academic achievement while promoting confidence, resilience, and independence. You will also play a key role in creating a safe, structured, and stimulating classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver high-quality lessons across the KS2 curriculum
Assess, track, and monitor pupil progress effectively
Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils, including SEN and EAL
Promote positive behaviour and high expectations in the classroom
Prepare pupils for SATs and the transition to secondary school
Create a structured, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and KS2 colleagues
Communicate effectively with parents and carers about pupil progress
Contribute to staff meetings, planning sessions, and school improvement initiatives
Follow safeguarding, health and safety, and school policies at all times
The Ideal Candidate
The successful candidate will:
Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
Have recent experience teaching in Key Stage 2
Be confident delivering all areas of the KS2 curriculum
Have excellent classroom management, organisational, and planning skills
Be reflective, enthusiastic, and pupil-focused
Be a positive team player with excellent communication skills
Be committed to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing
