The school prides itself on its welcoming and inclusive ethos, fostering a supportive environment where pupils and staff can thrive. The leadership team is approachable and committed to professional development, staff wellbeing, and collaborative working across the school. As a KS2 Teacher, you will be responsible for planning, delivering, and assessing engaging lessons across the Key Stage 2 curriculum. • Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and KS2 colleagues

  • Communicate effectively with parents and carers about pupil progress

  • Contribute to staff meetings, planning sessions, and school improvement initiatives

  • Follow safeguarding, health and safety, and school policies at all times

The Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate will:

  • Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)

  • Have recent experience teaching in Key Stage 2

  • Be confident delivering all areas of the KS2 curriculum

  • Have excellent classroom management, organisational, and planning skills

  • Be reflective, enthusiastic, and pupil-focused

  • Be a positive team player with excellent communication skills

  • Be committed to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing

The school is located in Woolwich, with excellent transport links and a welcoming, diverse community. Staff benefit from a collaborative and professional working environment, strong leadership support, and opportunities for professional development. This is an ideal role for a KS2 teacher who wants to make a meaningful difference in pupils’ learning and development.
