Clinical Site Manager
- Maintain professional nursing standards in line with the NMC Code of Professional Conduct and hospital policies.
- Act as a key coordinator across wards, departments, consultants, GPs, and all client groups-ensuring clear, timely communication.
- Manage emergency admissions efficiently, meeting the expectations of consultants, GPs, and patients.
- Work closely with the Patient Services Manager to optimise bed usage and resolve shortages, ensuring patients are cared for in the right specialty areas.
- Uphold hospital governance policies, including incident and near-miss reporting.
- Deliver a consistent, safe service throughout the patient journey, instilling a culture of customer service and monitoring effectiveness through patient feedback and clinical indicators.
- Provide visible leadership, engaging and supporting nursing staff at all levels.
- Support the learning and development of nursing teams and participate in performance management.
- Ensure new and existing Consultants meet clinical standards, escalating concerns as needed.
- First level registered nurse qualification
- Degree or equivalent experience
- Evidence of ongoing professional development
- Current ALS or EPALS certificate (or willingness to achieve within 6 months)
- Recent experience in a senior nursing role
- Demonstrated leadership and management skills
- Experience working in multidisciplinary teams
- Clinical audit, benchmarking, and complaints management experience
- Proven ability to develop and deliver training programmes and protocols
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills
- Strong analytical, organisational, and planning skills
- Computer literate (MS Word, Outlook, Excel)
