Salary: £40,000–£48,000 depending on experience
The Opportunity
A well-established secondary school in Southwark is looking to appoint an experienced Data & Admissions Manager to oversee pupil information and admissions across the school.
This is a hands-on position with plenty of variety. Alongside maintaining the school’s data systems, you’ll provide senior leaders with accurate reporting and ensure prospective and new pupils experience a well-organised admissions process.
Your Day-to-Day
You will:
Take responsibility for the accuracy and integrity of pupil data
Manage the school MIS and associated databases
Produce reports and analyse school data for SLT
Maintain attendance, assessment and admissions information
Coordinate applications and pupil admissions
Manage new starter and leaver records
Liaise with parents, Local Authorities and external agencies
Assist with statutory returns and census information
Ensure records are maintained in line with GDPR requirements
About You
You’ll ideally have worked in a secondary school data, admissions or administrative role and understand the importance of accuracy and confidentiality.
Advanced Excel skills and experience using a school MIS are highly desirable. You’ll also need excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise when working to tight deadlines.
