Events Coordinator

We are partnering with an exciting boutique investment bank to appoint an Events Coordinator to join their London office on a permanent basis. This role sits within a global events function and will support the delivery of high-quality internal and external events across the London office.
Working closely with colleagues across marketing, corporate communications, HR, and operations, the successful candidate will play a key role in coordinating event logistics, managing suppliers, and ensuring seamless execution. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and proactive events professional looking to develop within a fast-paced, professional services environment.
The successful candidate will be involved in:
- Coordinating the planning and delivery of a wide range of corporate events, working closely with internal stakeholders and the global events team
- Managing relationships with external suppliers, including venues, catering providers, and event services, to ensure smooth execution
- Supporting the development of event requirements, including budgeting, guest numbers, and catering arrangements
- Working with internal teams to align events with broader marketing, communications, and business objectives
- Assisting in the production of event materials such as signage, name badges, and printed collateral
- Maintaining and updating event schedules, ensuring accurate coordination of meeting spaces and internal calendars
- Acting as a key on-site contact for London-based events, overseeing logistics, guest experience, and event flow
- Supporting internal and external event communications in collaboration with relevant teams
- Managing post-event processes, including cost reconciliation, feedback collection, and reporting
- Contributing to additional projects and ad hoc event activity as required
The ideal candidate should have:
- Previous experience in events coordination, administration, or a related role, ideally within financial or professional services
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- A proactive, solutions-oriented approach with the ability to work independently
- High attention to detail and a structured approach to task management
- Experience using tools such as MS Office, Smartsheet, Cvent, or similar event management platforms
- A professional and confident manner when dealing with internal and external stakeholders
- Strong judgement and discretion when handling sensitive information
- A collaborative mindset and positive, team-oriented approach
