Empowering Learning are currently recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to join a lively Primary School in Hackney for an ASAP start. This is a long-term position until the end of the school year with the view of the role extending. You will be working in a Year 4 class providing support to the class teacher and preparing the classroom for lessons and activities. As well as supporting across the classroom, you will be required to support a group of children who need extra support in literacy and numeracy. You will need to have excellent behaviour management skills and be able to use your own initiative as well as work as part of a team. You must also have strong subject knowledge.
As a Teaching Assistant for this role, you will have the following: *at least 1 years' experience working in a primary school setting, ideally within KS2*must have excellent subject knowledge in literacy and numeracy
*a recognised qualification up to Level 3 - this is desirable but not a must
*possess excellent communication skills
