Operations Manager – London Market Insurer (12-Month FTC)
£85,000 – £100,000 + Benefits | London (Hybrid – 4 Days Office, Fridays WFH)
A leading London Market insurer is looking to hire an Operations Manager to support a high-profile technology and transformation project already underway. This is a newly created role offering the opportunity to play a key part in both business-as-usual operations and strategic change delivery.
Working closely with the Head of Operations, you will help ensure the smooth running of the business while contributing to a range of operational, systems, and process improvement initiatives during a critical growth phase
The RoleThis is a broad and hands-on Operations role with exposure across multiple areas of the business. Responsibilities include:
- Supporting the day-to-day operational running of the business, ensuring processes and controls are adhered to
- Contributing to ongoing transformation and technology initiatives
- Assisting with process documentation, improvement, and implementation
- Monitoring data quality and operational performance across systems
- Supporting vendor management and resolving system/data issues
- Assisting with audit, compliance, and regulatory reporting activities
- Supporting business continuity planning and operational risk management
- Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners
You’ll play a key role in balancing operational delivery with project demands, helping to drive efficiency and continuous improvement across the function.
About You- Strong London Market insurance experience (essential)
- Proven background within Insurance Operations
- Experience supporting or working alongside technology, change, or transformation projects
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- A proactive, hands-on approach with a focus on delivery and improvement
- Salary between £85,000 – £100,000 depending on experience
- 12-month fixed-term contract with strong potential for extension
- Hybrid working – typically 4 days in the office, with Fridays off
