People Systems Analyst

teya
London

Hello. We’re Teya.

Teya was founded on a simple belief: local businesses deserve better.

They are the cafés, restaurants, salons, shops and entrepreneurs that bring character to our high streets, create jobs and keep communities moving. Yet for too long, financial services has made life harder for them - with clunky tools, poor support and complexity that gets in the way of running a business.

Teya exists to change that.

We’re building a financial platform for local businesses across Europe - one built around simple tools, thoughtful design and real human support. Our Members rely on us to help them run their business with confidence, and that responsibility shapes the way we work.

We move fast. We care about quality. We stay close to the detail. And we believe great performance and genuine hospitality should go hand in hand.

If you want to build meaningful products, solve real problems and make a genuine difference for local businesses, we’d love to hear from you

Your Mission

As our People Systems Analyst, you’ll own the systems that keep the People department

running. From our core HR system to the integrations, workflows, and reports that sit

around it, you’ll make sure everything is set up well, works reliably, and keeps getting better

over time.

You’ll configure and maintain our systems, build integrations and automations that remove

manual work, troubleshoot issues as they arise, and keep our people data accurate and

dependable. You’ll work closely with vendors, support the wider team with reports and

testing, and constantly look for smarter, simpler ways to do things.

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys solving problems, likes making systems

work seamlessly, and takes pride in getting the detail right. You’ll have real ownership over

how our People systems run — and a direct impact on how smoothly the whole department

operates.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and maintain our HR systems configuration across the whole People department

  • Build integrations and workflows that connect our systems and tools

  • Troubleshoot and resolve system issues as they come up

  • Coordinate vendors and manage support tickets through to resolution

  • Keep our systems documentation clear and up to date

  • Build operational reports that give the team the data it needs

  • Find and build automation opportunities that cut out manual work

  • Keep our people data accurate, consistent, and reliable

  • Support system testing for new features and changes

  • Support improvements to our processes and systems

  • Monitor how our systems are performing and flag issues early

What good looks like

  • Our systems are stable, reliable, and dependable

  • Manual, repetitive work is reduced through automation

  • People data is accurate and trustworthy

  • Workflows are efficient and easy to use

  • The team confidently adopts and uses our systems and tools

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience with HiBob and Jira (both essential) — you’ve configured, maintained, or worked closely with these systems day to day

  • Confident building integrations, workflows, and automations between systems

  • Strong reporting and data skills, including advanced Excel; SQL is a plus

  • A methodical troubleshooter who can investigate and resolve system issues

  • Strong attention to detail, with a focus on data accuracy and integrity

  • Comfortable managing vendors, support tickets, and competing priorities

  • A clear communicator who can write good documentation and explain systems to non-technical colleagues

  • Experience with Deel is a nice to have

The Perks

  • We trust you, so we offer flexible working hours, as long as it suits both you and your team.

  • Physical and mental health support through our partnership with GymPass, giving free access to over 1,500 gyms in the UK, 1-1 therapy, meditation sessions, and digital fitness and nutrition apps.

  • Extended and improved maternity and paternity leave choices, giving employees more flexibility and support.

  • Cycle-to-Work Scheme.

  • Health and Life Insurance.

  • Pension Scheme.

  • 25 days of Annual Leave (plus Bank Holidays).

  • Office snacks every day.

  • Friendly, comfortable, and informal office environment in Central London

Teya is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.

We are committed to creating an inclusive environment where everyone regardless of race, ethnicity, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, age, disability, religion, or background can thrive and do their best work. We believe that a diverse team leads to better ideas, stronger outcomes, and a more supportive workplace for all.
