Special Needs Teaching Assistant (Primary & Early Years)

Are you someone who thrives on making a difference, especially for children with complex learning needs? We’re seeking passionate, proactive and engaging male Teaching Assistants with experience in special education to join a warm, creative and highly supportive primary special school for pupils aged 2-11. What you’ll be working with: Pupils who have severe learning difficulties (SLD), profound & multiple learning difficulties (PMLD), complex medical needs, and many with autism spectrum disorder. A creative and practical curriculum that focuses on building independence, communication, life skills and confidence. Specialist support and collaborative working: you’ll work alongside speech and language therapists, occupational therapists, sensory support services, and other visiting professionals. What we’re looking for: Male candidates with experience working in special educational needs contexts (SLD, ASD, PMLD or similar) Someone who is proactive, compassionate, resilient, and engaging Full-time availability, Monday-Friday, 8:30-16:00 A team-player with excellent communication skills, who cares deeply about children’s welfare and can help support both their learning and wellbeing Why this role is special: You’ll be joining a school that values kindness, understanding, respect, and celebrates what makes each child unique.
