Scrum Master (DV Security Clearance) (IT)

The Space, Defence and Intelligence business unit in CGI is a true IT Systems Integrator. CGI is looking for a highly talented, driven, and dynamic Scrum Master with a passion for leading teams. At CGI, you will be involved in a mission critical project working alongside dedicated people like yourself, building forward looking solutions and making an impact with both internal and client stakeholders. Our roles are only available if you hold a UK Security Clearance and are a sole UK National due to the secure nature of the project. You will either hold a higher level clearance or be willing to obtain it. This position is located in London, working predominantly on the client's site. Candidate profile:
- Responsible for facilitating and championing the Agile software development process.
- Regularly report on team progress, risks, and any blockers to program leadership.
- Maintain project status in Agile tracking software and prepare reports on status.
- Responsible for facilitating daily stand-ups, backlog prioritisation meetings, sprint planning, retrospectives and other Agile activities.
- Responsible for communicating with the customer and the team, tracking tasks and producing quality deliverables.
- Work with team to identify, document, manage risks/issues in a timely manner, coordinate and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure risks/issues are resolved and closed.
- Coach the scrum team in using Agile methodology and scrum practices.
- Collaborate with Product Owner to understand current assignment and enable the team to stay focused on Sprint and Program Increment objectives.
- At least 3 years of previous experience leading and managing agile IT development projects.
- Experience with Agile Project Management tools.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills is necessary to be successful in this role
- Must be self-motivated and have the ability to multi-task and solve problems independently and innovatively.
