Job Title: Outreach Worker

Working Arrangement : Office-based
Pay Rate : £21.23 per hour (PAYE)
- Valid business car insurance

- Manage a caseload of rough sleepers and single homeless applicants, ensuring support needs are met and clients can sustain tenancies.
- Collaborate with teams like RAMPH to assess needs and guide clients to appropriate services.
- Act as the main contact for allocated individuals, maintaining records and reporting data.
- Create tailored action plans with coordinators to secure suitable housing and support.
- Liaise with welfare departments to ensure benefit access.
- Support homelessness applications through close coordination with relevant teams.
- Understanding of key homelessness legislation and housing-related benefits
- Experience working directly with people in high-stress situations
- Awareness of diverse needs across Harrow's communities
- Clear, calm communication and strong interpersonal skills
- Effective negotiation skills for engaging support agencies
- Creative approach to housing solutions
- Able to work independently and within a team under tight deadlines
