Data analyst

Prima
London

Are you looking for a new challenge?

Fancy helping us shape the future of motor insurance?

Prima could be the place for you.

Since 2015, we’ve been using our love of data and tech to rethink motor insurance and bring drivers a great experience at a great price. Our story began in Italy, where we’ve quickly become the number one online motor insurance provider. In fact, we’re trusted by over 4 million drivers. And now we’re expanding to help millions more drivers in the UK and Spain.

To help fuel that growth, we need a Data Analyst to join our Online Sales Team.

This team serves both our business and our customers.

As part of this team, you’ll optimise our online products, making sure they meet user needs and convert. You’ll also help strengthen our relationship with third party partners, such as price comparison websites, so we can better connect with our audience and turn more clicks into sales.

Excited to make an impact? Here are the details

What You'll Do

  • Analyse data from various business areas, including online conversion, operational efficiency, trading reports and strategic projects.
  • Identify improvement opportunities and support data-driven decision making in collaboration with teams like Pricing, Underwriting, Product & Engineering, UX, Customer Care and Claims.
  • Design and maintain dashboards in Tableau to monitor performance of the metrics that matter, as well as impact of initiatives to enable deeper analysis.
  • Participate in the integration and automation of data exchange between local and global teams.
  • Collaborate with other Data Analysts and Data Scientists to share best practices and strengthen Prima’s data-driven culture.
  • Support and lead key business initiatives, including the launch of new channels and propositions.
  • Manage successful relationships with 3rd party commercial partners.

What We're Looking For

  • A minimum of 2–3 years of professional experience is required in data analytics, management consulting, or other roles that are analytically driven.
  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative or analytical field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, or Economics.
  • A solid understanding of business in regulated industries
  • Excellent analytical mindset and problem solving skills
  • A keenness and confidence in stakeholder management, both internally and externally.

Nice to Have

  • Proficiency with SQL, Python, Excel & Tableau
  • Experience with cloud data platforms (e.g., Databricks)
  • Understanding of or interest in UK Motor Insurance
