Exams Officer - Independent School - Camden

About the Role
As Exams Officer, you will be responsible for managing the planning, organisation, and delivery of all examinations within the school. This includes coordinating internal assessments, GCSEs, and A-Level examinations while ensuring all procedures comply with examination board regulations.
Your responsibilities will include:
Managing the full examination cycle, including entries, timetables, and results
Liaising with examination boards to ensure compliance with regulations and deadlines
Organising examination venues and coordinating invigilators
Ensuring exam papers and materials are handled securely and confidentially
Maintaining accurate examination records and candidate information
Supporting pupils and staff with examination procedures and requirements
Processing results and assisting with post-results services such as reviews and appeals
Keeping up to date with examination regulations and implementing any necessary updates
Experience and Skills
The successful candidate will:
Have previous experience as an Exams Officer or in a similar administrative role
Demonstrate excellent organisational and time-management skills
Have strong attention to detail and the ability to work accurately under pressure
Be confident working with databases, spreadsheets, and school management systems
Have excellent communication skills when working with staff, pupils, and exam boards
Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
Experience working within a school or education setting is highly desirable.
