About The Role:

At Walr, we know the environment people work in shapes how people feel, collaborate, and perform, so we create environments that are energizing, inclusive, and thoughtfully run.

We’re looking for a passionate Office Manager & Executive Assistant who thrives in a fast-paced setting and takes pride in keeping everything running smoothly. This is a hands-on, high-impact role for someone organized, proactive, and always one step ahead, bringing energy, detail, and genuine care to everything they do.

You’ll be the welcoming face of Walr - the go-to person for all things office-related and the one who keeps our space running smoothly day to day. From managing office operations and coordinating events that bring our culture to life, to greeting guests and supporting our People team, you’ll bring energy, care, and attention to detail to everything you do.

You’ll also work closely with our Executive Leadership Team, from managing their calendars and diary, planning off sites to coordinating meetings and handling travel.

The role is based on-site at our London office, five days a week.

  • Own the day-to-day running of the London office: ensure the office is always clean, well-stocked, functional, and welcoming
  • Be the go-to person for all things office-related: manage vendors, maintenance, office supplies and swag, and budgets to keep everything running smoothly
  • Create a warm, professional experience for visitors: oversee guest registration, meeting set-up, and hospitality
  • Support the Executive Leadership Team: support 4 ELT members with calendar and diary management, meeting prep, off-site planning, and travel coordination
  • Partner with the People team to bring our culture to life: own and deliver engaging office celebrations and events
  • Maintain health & safety standards: act as fire marshal and first aid coordinator, and ensure accessibility and compliance
  • Manage our London space: own office upgrades to continuously improve how our spaces look, feel, and function

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Experience working as an Office Manager and/or Executive Assistant within a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a proven ability to adapt your style to different audiences
  • Strong tech ability across tools, including Slack, Notion, Outlook, PowerPoint etc.

  • Highly organized with strong multitasking and prioritization skills
  • Demonstrates a strong eagerness to learn and embrace new tools and processes, with the flexibility to adapt quickly in dynamic settings.
  • Takes initiative to anticipate needs, own responsibilities, and continuously improve office efficiency.
  • High attention to detail and strong ownership mentality
  • Experience planning and delivering engaging in-office events
  • Comfortable managing budgets, tracking spend, and negotiating with suppliers
  • People-focused, positive, and solutions-oriented in everything you do
  • Comfortable handling confidential information with discretion and professionalism
