Project Manager

Michael Taylor Search & Selection
London
My client is approaching their 80th year in business and has built an outstanding reputation for quality delivery, client focus, and handling complex projects. They are a well-established and highly respected company within the Fit Out and Refurbishment sector, recognised for their commitment to employee development and a positive working culture. The business offers a clear progression path, ensuring employees receive the support, training, and opportunities needed to grow their careers.

With a collaborative and inclusive environment, the company champions professional development while maintaining a healthy work–life balance. Their leadership team continues to invest heavily in talent, providing structured training, mentorship programmes, and transparent pathways for advancement.

A large proportion of their work sits within the commercial office sector, ranging from structural alterations and cut-and-carve schemes through to high-end landlord and end-user fit outs. Despite being regarded as one of the ‘go-to’ contractors for commercial projects in London, they also deliver a diverse portfolio across healthcare, retail, leisure, and education, with project values typically between £1m and £60m. Building long-standing relationships has been central to their success, with much of their workload secured through repeat business and recommendation.

The company maintains a rigorous recruitment process. In addition to seeking candidates with relevant industry experience, they place strong emphasis on hiring individuals with an excellent work ethic and a collaborative, honest, accountable, and communicative approach.
