Role description:
We have an opportunity for a Project Manager to join our Local Government team delivering projects across London and the South-East. Youll be managing service delivery and work on a range of exciting projects including a range of housing development and regeneration projects and programmes at all stages.
As a Project Manager you will work to deliver excellent client outcomes by managing project teams delivering regeneration housing mixed use and new settlement schemes predominantly but not exclusively to local authority clients.
The team are currently working on several housing led mixed-use regeneration projects with projects sized 100-350 units and construction values of 40m-385m.
Role accountabilities:
- The day-to-day management of high quality profitable services to clients and working with colleagues to manage projects and programmes from inception through feasibility design and planning stages construction completion and occupation/operation
- Helping to create project plans and then executing and managing them effectively for clients managing risk change and programme delivery effectively
- Working with colleagues to assemble and manage multi-disciplinary design and consultancy teams often with a mixture of Arcadis colleagues sub-consultants and consultants appointed by the client
- Acting as Contract Administrator Employers Agent for JCT contracts or Project Manager for NEC contracts.

- A relevant professional qualification
- Experience of project managing housing regeneration mixed-use and/or new settlement projects in London from inception to completion including planning processes land use and development viability
- A track record of project delivery excellence and client care
- Experience of working in or for London local authority clients or other registered providers
- Experience of effective and collaborative management of multi-disciplinary teams (internal and external)
- Ability and desire toengage effectively with stakeholders including a broad range of local authority clients statutory bodies funding bodies developers residents and users
- Experience of public sector procurement strategy processes contract negotiation and compliance
- Experience managing third-party contractors
- Knowledge and understanding of project management and employers agent servicers at all stages of projects with a particular focus on design and construction.
- A hunger to learn and develop and a drive to deliver excellent outcomes for our clients.
- Ability to incorporate innovative solutions into regeneration housing and mixed use schemes.
- A digital mindset with the ability to use technology to better manage projects
