Summer 2025 Students Internship - Trainee Baker (Hiring Immediately)
Job Purpose The Intern - Trainee Baker will support and guarantee daily preparation of products at the highest standard, quality and quantity determined by the Production Operations Manager. Is a great opportunity for students intrested: Learning about Hospitality Industry Developing business related skills such as team communication, written communication (emails to customers, providers and others), data analysis (use excel documents regarding products, cost, profit margins and others) Learning and developing their passion for bakery and cooking skills Key duties and responsibilities The Intern - Trainee Baker will provide support with Preparing the production area Ingredient preparation and daily products (focaccia bread, cookies, loaf and sponge cakes, viennoiserie and sandwiches) Prepare baking tins and trays for correct product Storing ingredient appropriately as suggested by the Production Operations Manager Shadow and get experience to use methods such as; mixing, scaling and shaping to handcraft our bread Maintain the cleanliness of all food preparation areas and equipment Checking and unloading stock on arrival Taking out bins Support team members with jobs needed throughout the day Person specification Hard working, highly motivated, passionate and reliable Positive and “can-do” attitude Attention to detail Great listening skills and follow step by step processe Benefits Flexible Shift Pattern: Mon-Sun, any 5 consecutive days out of Obtain Level 2 - Food hygiene certificate on completion , the succesful intern will be awarded with 1. Certificate of achievement 2. Letter of recommendation for future job applications or educational purposes
